We were delighted to welcome the Security Bureau's Youth Leaders on a visit the past weekend (19 November 2022). The event kicked off in the morning in the presence of the Under Secretary for Security Mr. Cheuk Hau-yip Michael, followed by a series of familiarization flights on our H175 helicopters in which the participants were able to witness how the helicopter crew members coordinate in flight. This occurred with the scenic backdrop of the HK International Airport and Lantau Island.
After the flight experience, the youth leaders continued to tour the aircraft hangar where engineering and winching operations were demonstrated. Our fleet of aircraft was also on display with its respective crew explaining their day-to-day operations to the youth leaders.
As part of our enduring effort in youth work, the activities aim to provide exposure on the various interesting and inspirational roles of the GFS to the youth leaders.
