A. System Function
The compression system supplies pressure and flow controlled bleed-air from each engine to the air-conditioning packs.
B. System Components (Ref. Fig. 1)
The primary components of the system are the:
The bleed air from the engines flows through the components of the compression system to the air-conditioning packs. The components of the compression system make sure the airflow is at the correct pressure.

- High-Pressure Shut-Off Valves (HPSOV)
- Check Valves
- Pressure-Regulator Shut-off Valves (PRSOV)
- Venturi
- Over-pressure switches
- Particle separator
The bleed air from the engines flows through the components of the compression system to the air-conditioning packs. The components of the compression system make sure the airflow is at the correct pressure.
