A. System Function
The moisture/air contaminant control system removes water from the air in the air conditioning system.
B. System Components
The primary component of the system is the Water separator
C. System Operation (Ref. Fig. 1 and Fig. 2)
The water separator receives conditioned air from the cold air unit and removes the unwanted water from the airflow. The water collects in the sump of the separator and flows through the drain to the water injector (together with the water/air mixture from the heat exchanger of the cooling system) (Ref. 21-50-00).
