A. System Function
The static dischargers remove the static electricity which helps decrease the radio receiver interference (during flight, corona discharge from the aircraft structure causes the radio receiver interference).
B. System Components
The primary components of the system are the five tip static dischargers and the 16 trailing static dischargers. (Ref. Fig. 1)
C. System Operation
The static electricity flows through the static discharger to a distance from the aircraft sufficient not to cause radio interference.
