A. System Function
The aircraft batteries supply 24 V dc to the (left and the right) battery busbar and to the internal busbar in the Power-Distribution Units (PDU).
B. System Components
The primary components of the system are the left and the right batteries. (Ref. Fig. 1)
C. System Operation (Ref. Fig. 2)
The system is divided into a left system and a right system. The left battery supplies the left battery busbar and the internal busbar in the left PDU. The right battery supplies the right battery busbar and the internal busbar in the right PDU. The batteries are charged through the PDU when the starter/ generators are in operation.
