A. System Function
The external dc power system supplies the aircraft electrical system from a ground power source.
B. System Components
The primary components of the system are the ground power socket (Ref. Fig. 2) and the ground power switch (Ref. Fig. 1).

The ground power contactor in the left Power-Distribution Unit (PDU) controls the system. The ground power contactor connects the external power through the bus-tie contactor in the left and the right PDU, to the:
