A. System Function
Two independently operated windshield wiper systems give the windshield protection from rain to give a clear forward view.

The primary components of the systems are the:

The applicable windshield switch is set to control each system. The left system motor/converter is energized from the 28 V dc emergency busbar. The right system motor/converter is energized from the 28 V dc right essential busbar. The two systems operate in flight and on the ground when power from the related busbar is available.

- Two windshield wiper arms (Ref. Fig. 1)
- Two windshield wiper blades (Ref. Fig. 1)
- Two windshield wiper switches
