A. System Function

The flight-compartment lighting system gives light to the:

• Instrument panels
• Coaming
• Circuit breaker panels
• Pedestal
• Side panels and the roof panels
• Chart holders

B. System Components

The primary components of the system are:

• Three switches
• Five dim-control switches
• Three 28 V dc/0-28 V dc converters
• Five 28 V dc/0-5 V dc converters

C. System Operation

A 28 V dc supply goes through the switches and the converters to the:

• Instrument panels
• Coaming panel
• Circuit breaker panels
• Pedestal
• Chart holders
• Side panels and the roof panels
