A. System Function
The attitude and direction system calculates and shows data about the attitude and direction of the aircraft.
B. Sub-systems
(1) The standby instruments (Ref. 34-21-00) give data about the attitude and direction of the aircraft independently of the main systems.
(2) The flight director (FD) (Ref. 34-22-00) gives flight guidance commands which are shown on the EFIS.
(3) The radio magnetic indicators (Ref. 34-24-00) show compass data and the direction of set VOR/ADF beacons.
(4) The Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) (Ref. 34-25-00) calculates the attitude and direction of the aircraft.
(5) The Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) (Ref. 34-26-00) shows flight data about the attitude and navigation of the aircraft to the crew.
