A. General
The forward service doors give an aerodynamic shape to the forward equipment bay. They also give access to the equipment which is installed in the bay.

C. System Operation
The support strut engages a fitting in the fuselage structure to keep the door open during maintenance. Soundproofing bags are installed on the door inner skin. These bags decrease the noise from the equipment installed in the equipment bay.
