A. System Function
The door warning system gives warnings to the flight crew if a door or an emergency exit is not locked.

The primary components of the system are the:

The micro-switches give a ground signal to the Central Annunciator Panel (CAP) when they operate. The door locking and release mechanisms operate the micro-switches.
The time delay relays allow sufficient time for the door to be closed before the door warning system operates.
