A. General

The landing gear doors give an aerodynamic shape to the landing gear bays.
B. System Components(Ref. Fig. 1 and Fig. 2)

The landing gear doors have these primary assemblies:

• The forward Nose Landing-Gear (NLG) doors
• The aft NLG doors
• The forward Main Landing-Gear (MLG) doors
• The rear MLG doors

C. System Operation

• The landing gear doors make the aerodynamic fairing around the landing gear bays when the landing gear is retracted.
