The aerodynamic fairings complete the shape of the fuselage.

The primary assemblies are the:
(Ref. Fig. 1 and Fig. 2)
  • Radome
  • -
  • Ventral fairing
  • Fuselage to wing fairing
  • Tail cone
The radome is an aerodynamic cover for the weather radar. The ventral fairings contain the air-conditioning bay, the hydraulics bay, the electrical equipment bay and the ventral baggage bay. The fuselage-to-wing fairings give an aerodynamic shape to the fuselage-to-wing interface. The tail cone is an aerodynamic cover for the rudder controls on the rear bulkhead.
