- General
The wing box structure is the primary structure of the assembly which gives lift to the aircraft. It also has these main functions:
- It contains the fuel storage area
- It has the attachment points for the flight controls
- It has the attachment points for the engines
- It has the attachment points for the landing gear
- It has the attachment points for the fuselage
The wing is one assembly and it is attached to the bottom of the fuselage.

The wing primary structure is a sealed box structure with these primary assemblies:
- The front spar
- The rear spar
- The ribs
- The wing skins/plates
- The landing strips for the attachment of the leading edge
- The landing strips for the attachment of the trailing edge
