    The temperature system measures the temperature of the exhaust gas from the engine.

    The primary component of the system is the Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) probe.

  3. System Operation

    As the temperature of the exhaust gas from the engine changes, the electrical potential of the EGT probe changes. The Integrated Electronic Control (IEC) computer measures this electrical potential, and gives a related output.
