A. System Function
A jet pipe, attached to the engine outlet, lets the engine exhaust gases flow over the wing. Two independently installed swivel links attach the jet pipe to the nacelle structure. An insulation blanket in the jet pipe assembly prevents damage to the nacelle structure from radiant heat.
