The search radar system (the system) uses a 360 degree scan to show targets on the surface of the sea. The system also operates in terrain mapping, weather avoidance, beacon transponder location and waypoint navigation display modes.

System Operation
The system uses a rotating antenna array to transmit Radio Frequency (RF) pulse through 360 degree. The RF energy is reflected from all targets in range and their position is shown on the radar indicator.
