07-00-00 LIFTING AND SHORING - GENERAL BackBack

This chapter contains the procedure to:

  • Lift the aircraft
  • Lift one leg of the landing gear

A. Lift the Aircraft (Ref. Fig. 1)

Three main jacks lift the aircraft at three specified jack points. The jack points are on the bottom of:

  • The fuselage at stn 90
  • The left and the right wing at stn 36

B. Lift One leg of the Landing Gear (Ref. Fig. 2)

A 5 ton pillar jack is used to lift one leg of the landing gear. The pillar jack is hydraulically operated and is used with:

  • A jack adapter
  • A Nose Landing-gear (NLG) saddle
  • Or A Main Landing-Gear (MLG) saddle
