Elevator trim indicator shows the degree of elevator trim as per input from elevator trim control wheels.Elevator trim controls wheels receive flight crew manual input for elevator trim.When the elevator trim wheels are turned in a rearward direction, the elevator trim tabs are moved down. The aerodynamic loads on the tabs move the elevators up and hence give a nose up trim to the aircraft.
