J-41 Components

The engine condition levers are used to control the engine operational speed (engine rpm). It also serves as the STOP/FEATHER Lever for engine emergency shut-down. Each engine condition lever has three positions: FLIGHT, TAXI and FEATHER SHUT-OFF.While the aircraft being on the ground, the condition levers are set to the TAXI position.While the aircraft being in flight, the condition levers are set to FLIGHT position.While the engine being shut down in flight, the condition lever is set to FEATHER SHUT-OFF position
